Christmas Eve & Christmas Day 2017

Christmas Eve the girls and I spent with my side of the family. My mom always makes her famous cookies, Mexican food and we act out that nativity. It’s the perfect formula so why mess with it?

Christmas Eve we sat out the pink milk for Santa and chocolate milk for Ms Claus:

And overnight they came!

We also told the girls where we were going for our surprise trip by these clues; iguana, rice, shells….COSTA RICA! In a couple days we were boarding a plane to go back to where we used to live.

A really sweet present I was given was a painting of Honey made by Cameron. I have it over my bed and it means so much to me.

I also had a painting made for the girls of them and Honey.

Boy do we miss that dog.

I tried to make English dishes for our Christmas day meal. I appreciated them a lot but the family just wondered where our regular food was.

Lastly the girls loved getting new pjs made by my mother and wore them our first night in Costa Rica.
