12th Birthday Tradition for Abby

If the only positive thing that has come from watching every single season of every Real Housewife franchise is Yolanda’s paintings idea, it was worth it! When her daughters moved out of the house she invited friends and family to come over and paint a canvas for them of love & advice. So what I did was when my girls turn 12 I have an artist paint a canvas from everyone in their lives. Their family, extended family, family friends, dance teachers, youth leaders, etc. give me a phrase or word that represents something wonderful about the daughter. Or they opted to send them a phrase or word that would carry them through teenage-hood. The artist was a YW of mine that is so talented wth art and she did a wonderful job!

The hope is that these hang on my daughter’s walls from 12-18 while they navigate going from a child to an adult. Also that when they look at it they feel love.
