Monster Blow Art
July 15th, 2010 in Crafts
I started a Neighborhood Art Group again and at our first “meeting” (aka eight 3-4 year olds all running around like crazy on my front lawn), we did Monster Blow Art. And it turned out really well!
Supplies:
Tempura Paint (Powdered)
Water
Straws Cut in Half
Glue
Googly Eyes
Paper
Directions:
1. Mix the tempura paint and water so it is the texture of a bubble solution.
2. Drop paint in different places on the paper.
3. Let the kids “blow” the paint around through the cut in half bendie straw.
4. After it dries, attach “google eyes” so it looks like a monster!
P.S. We also made sidewalk chalk from scratch, like I posted about here. The kids had a blast!
