I want to hear more about your love of poetry, have you always had this love? How has it helped you during hard times in your life or just everyday moments in your life?
I’ve loved poetry as long as I can remember. I tend to write with a poetic rhythm even though I don’t consider myself a poet, so when I read poetry I feel I’m hearing something in my own language. The most beautiful poems can get you through anything, even the loss of a child as I experienced last year. They also fill you up in the morning to get through the day, and can make you feel understood when no one gets you. Poetry is God’s language. It’s power on the page.
