New England 2017 Trip: Boston
Boston is one of my favorite cities for a few reasons: Red Sox fans, cannolis, Italian food, and the accent. Tyler does not understand why I adore that accent but I do, it makes me feel like I am at home.
The first thing we did was a duck boat tour; which half of it is on the water and the other half on the boat with wheels. They give you history, pretty views, and I left with a long list of things I have never done and want to in Boston. Reagan fell fast asleep and had a glorious nap.
We walked around Boston in one of their main parks and explored their community gardens. People have magical gardens with sitting rooms, bookshelves, a second home away from home. You can’t get inside, but you can see them through the chain linked fences.
We explored the Science Museum, that place needs more of our trip during a future trip.
Most importantly we had a SUPERB meal in Little Italy, fresh pasta and GOOD Bolognese sauce is from the heavens. Shae made her mama proud when she literally DRANK a cup of marina sauce straight.
I made everyone wait for me to get cannolis from Mike’s to eat later, I feel like I am the one that craves them the most.
Took a walk to Fenway Park and looked through some memorabilia stores.
On the way home we got terribly lost but ended up in the coolest little town with the most gorgeous beach sunset. I loved it so much that I booked a trip to that exact beach a summer later.
