Thanksgiving at Grand America

Once and awhile it is nice to do a holiday just your little family. So we did that for Thanksgiving and hid at the Grand America. We visited the spa; got massages, manicures, pedicures, played in the pool, and facials. Ate a gorgeous dinner, got to see Santa, and unwrap our Christmas jammies. Grand America = relaxation in our family. For years it would be our only place where we could truly relax in the very demanding years of growing our business. During the holidays they have beautiful store windows, decorated trees, and a grand tree with lights outside.

During our time downtown the girls and I got away to City Creek to shop for secret sister gifts. It is so hard for them to be “secret” when we are all shopping together. One day when they are grown it will be secret!

On our way home we ran and grabbed a Christmas tree. It is fun to be able to cut them down. Can you tell who won on their Christmas tree choice this year? Tyler (Charlie Brown Christmas Tree) or Abby (big beautiful tree)?
