Things We Did Winter 2018

As soon as we got back from Costa Rica we started dropping like flies with the sickies. Shae, Reagan, and I were very sick and for a long time all slept in the same room. We had snacks, medicine, soda, and something to watch TV on in one room and stayed there. Eventually Shae was diagnosed with pneumonia and I got it as well. Boy was that a rough time. In the middle of being sick I decided to finally enroll in college to complete a degree. I enrolled ten days late, had to get special permission to join all the classes, and dived right in. During the second half of being sick I caught up in all of my classes.

Pnemonia takes a long time to get over and I took us into the mountains too early. I mean we had been better for awhile but I didn’t realize how low our energy still was. So this beautiful outing below lasted about 20 minutes and ended in tears walking back to the car.

Shae & Reagan had a piano recital with their teacher Art. He was really great with the girls. Helped them have fun, love music, and focus. They grew significantly as piano players!

In dance Abby got her pointe shoes, Reagan was spotlighted, and the girls got to perform a bit in their dance team.

When Abby and Cameron were young my mom and I took them to see Disney on Ice. So when it was back in town we had to take Shae & Reagan. Shae cracked us up because she is SO not into princesses so had a…look of distaste on her face the whole night. I think she secretly loved the acrobatics but she will never admit that! We had tickets right on the front row and were right next to all the performers. Pretty darn cool.

For Valentines Day we followed through with our one tradition of buying our own candy from Sees.

Abby gave her last talk in Primary and moved up to YW with her friend Ivy.

We hosted A LOT of book clubs; crafts, discussions, games, and fun with friends.

Shae & Reagan were losing a lot of teeth!

For our adventure Fridays we went to a lot of new restaurants, museum exhibits, and chilly walks. Played with our stuffies, dog cuddles, bowling, and fun.
